Mt 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

Point 1. The first thing we read in the New Testament regarding money is about giving.

Point 2. They gave as worship, because they worshipped.

 

 

   Ac 20:33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.

Lu 19:23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
